Or you can use bittorrent and just take it until they figure out how Chinese a decision it was to block the internet.

They changed the layout a while ago now there's a little button on the top of the page right beside the page arrows with the vidalia symbol (an onion). Click this and select 'toggle tor status' and this should do it.

Thanks it worked for me! But the BBC iPlayer seem to take forever to load, I'm not sure though if it's just a problem with the website.

Everything seemed to run okay until I came to Step 6: enabling Tor in Firefox. I can't find this status anywhere, it's definitely not at the bottom of the page. Pretty stupid problem I guess but I don't know too much about these kind of things... I would really appreciate some help. Does anyone know how I can persuade Firefox to enable Tor (Tor runs properly, by the way)?

I am using http://www.supervpn.net/uk-vpn... to watch BBC outside UK.Everything works perfect but you must sing up for Deluxe SSL plan since BBC requires dedicated UK IP address based on SSL protocol.

For those that do not have a Computer Science degree, how about an easy alternative... The only thing that really works reliably for me is a VPN
