You need to use http://unblock-us.com/2529.htm... to watch Hulu, Netflix US outside US anywhere in world. You can also watch iPlayer (BBC UK) outside UK with this service. And if you guys change settings with this service at router instead of ATV, then you can watch all geo restricted sites on all devices connected with that router.

Channel 4 doesnt work on expat sheild anymore :-(

Hiya, I was living in Nelson for 6 months last year, and managed to
watch UK TV shows on my PC with one of those VPN thingys, I used http://www.laptoptelly.com, seem to do the trick, yeah NZ Telly not so great sometimes lol

Is anyone able to help me get this up and running on my Mac. I have downloaded and installed Tor however I get lost at Step.3 which is Windows specific.

"Step 3: Go to Start Menu and open All Programs ->
Vidalia Bundle -> Tor -> torcc. This will open the Tor config
file. Scroll all the way to the bottom and enter the following lines:

StrictExitNodes 1
exitnodes <list 2="" by="" commas="" found="" in="" names="" of="" separated="" step="" the="" you="">
An example of the second line above would be:
exitnodes anonion,anotherlink,colinwillsdorkyahoo
Save the file and exit notepad."

DEar Blue in Poland, -you'd have to be an Aussie? I was there a few years ago, Krakow and Warszawa, loved it and will probably return in the next year or so. They changed the layout a while ago now there's a little button on the top of the page right beside the page arrows with the vidalia symbol (an onion). Click this and select 'toggle tor status' and this should do it.

Thanks it worked for me! But the BBC iPlayer seem to take forever to load, I'm not sure though if it's just a problem with the website.

Everything seemed to run okay until I came to Step 6: enabling Tor in Firefox. I can't find this status anywhere, it's definitely not at the bottom of the page. Pretty stupid problem I guess but I don't know too much about these kind of things... I would really appreciate some help. Does anyone know how I can persuade Firefox to enable Tor (Tor runs properly, by the way)?
